It was lovely to see so many of you at our Summer Fair yesterday!
A huge thank you to Karen Geer and the rest of The Friends group for all of their hard work, planning and organisation. It was a fantastic day. Children and adults had a great time and I know the children will benefit from the funds raised. Thank you also to everyone who came along and supported the school (especially those who didn't rush home as soon as the rain started!).
It was such a shame that we had to postpone our Sports Day. We made a decision the day before but it turned out that it would probably have been ok. Let's hope that it's really sunny and warm on our new date for Sports Day - Friday 2nd July.
Our new Music Lounge is open now. Children are enjoying much more comfortable music lessons and Breakfast Club and After School Club are also enjoying the new facilities. Don't forget the room is open to parents and visitors every morning (except Thurs) 9.15-11am. The entrance is at the back of Oaks Building next to the Nursery. Please be assured that visitors to this room cannot access the main part of the school.
As the end of the school year is looming, parents will be invited to complete feedback forms about different aspects of school life. I am always grateful for your feedback and ideas on how to improve our lovely school. Please complete the forms even if you are happy with everything - we need to know what NOT to change as well as what to improve! Thank you.
